This isn't the biggest Continente on the island, but the staff is super friendly! They have a wide selection and it's the last big supermarket as you head West (the Pingo Doce in Calheta has a much smaller selection). I generally find about 95% of what I want at this location. Plenty of parking in the underground Parking Garage. Again, people were all very friendly (Cashier, Service Desk, Meat counter).
Free underground parking . Quite a tight entrance and exit perhaps for a larger car but OK if you take the correct approach. Very well stocked supermarket with plenty of fresh produce available.
Good selection. Plenty of space and not chaotic like many other shops we visited in Madeira
